The Friday afternoon group has commenced meeting again.  These sessions are for youth between 11 and 16 years. Currently we usually have two tables of players and are hoping that number will expand.

The aim is to make playing bridge enjoyable for young people.  They start off just playing cards and gradually we introduce some of the basics of bidding and card play. 

Some of our young people who are now in their second year are proving to very capable in their play and bidding.

If you know someone in this age group who would enjoy learning to play bridge they are very welcome to come along and join us on a Friday afternoon at the Canberra Bridge Club from 4.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. 

The adults who are supervising the group all have police clearances to be working with children.
